The orientation program is an opportunity for any student to learn about the campus. Orientation can be used to build a network of resources that will help students and their parents to start their MGU journey in better manner on the right path. On 1st August, 2018, Orientation program for the new incoming students was held in the campus of Mahatma Gandhi University. The students from various corners of North-east chose Mahatma Gandhi University for pursuing different courses. Around 200 students registered themselves and took part in the orientation program. The Vice chancellor, MGU welcomed and congratulated the students for their registration with the University. The Registrar, MGU also threw some light on the value of education and he also further explained about the University norms. The program consisted of brief introduction about the University (Ms Bhaswati Sarmah), its rules and regulations (Mrs Bobby Bor Borah), introduction to the placement cell (Mrs Korovi Deka) and introduction of the students.
The entire program was detailed and anchored by Ms Jahnavi Phukan. After the formal part of the program the students were sent around for campus tour with their concerned faculty members.
